Dubna is the world-famous outstanding scientific and industrial centre and one of the fastest growing municipal formations in the Moscow Region. The status of Science City has been assigned to the city in December, 2001, by the Order of the President of the Russian Federation.

Dubna traditionally leads in the branches of technological development most desirable for the country, while being situated in the immediate vicinity to the economical and political heart of Russia. The researches are in active progress here in the spheres of nuclear and physical, medical, microsystems and informational technologies. That is promoted by the significant human resources and proficiency of the city inhabitants being active in economy of the city. Over the one third of them are involved in the scientific and production branch.
SEZ "Dubna" does have all the necessary infrastructure prepared for the effective management of
technology development activities as well as staff's comfortable accommodation and leisure.
  • There are permanent customs post "Dubna", 5 customs checkpoints and vehicle checkpoint on the territory of SEZ "Dubna", which operate in the interests of residents. In the near future a customs complex, located within the right-bank plot of Dubna SEZ is expected to be commissionned.

To conclude the agreement with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation about Technology and Innovation or about Commercial and Industrial activities and to receive the SEZ Resident Certificate.

116-FZ of 22.07.2005: Article 13. Documents required to conclude an agreement on the implementation of activities (as amended by Federal Law of 30.11.2011 N 365-FZ).

A person intending to obtain the status of a resident of a special economic zone (hereinafter referred to as the applicant) shall submit an application to the federal executive body authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation or the executive body of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation in the event of the transfer of powers provided for in paragraph 5.1 of part 1 of Article 8 of this Federal Law to him to conclude an agreement on the implementation of activities.
