On the 19th of May the Congress centre hosted the round table "special economic zone "Dubna": new opportunities and prospects". The main topics of the event were the development of cooperation in innovative projects of residents, as well as new possibilities for their funding.

The theme of the round table organized by the Managing company of SEZ "Dubna" interested a wide range of professionals. The leaders of the Ministry of investments and innovations of Moscow region, of leading foundations and state corporations, of the largest banks of Moscow and their branches attended the round table to discuss the possibility of promising high-tech investors projects funding in the special economic zone and also to find the ways of more active cooperation of residents in Dubna SEZ. The round table was attended by representatives of the administration of Dubna Chamber of Commerce, and most of the SEZ resident companies. The round table was attended by over 160 people.

The tone of the conversation was set by General Director of JSC "SEZ TIT "Dubna" Anton Afanasyev at the opening of the event. He outlined the main purpose of the round table the creation of the business community of the SEZ with the scientific-industrial complex of the city of Dubna, and offered to replace traditionally legal character of such meetings with informal communication. Then the participants learned about the results of the Management company activities and the future prospects of territory development. In particular, a few illustrative figures from the latest data of 2016 were named:

Anton Afanasyev elaborated on the construction of infrastructure for the residents, noting that it had been developing with significant funding and support from the Federal centre and the regional government. The investors of the SEZ built actively their facilities as well. In 2016 private housing was finished and threecompanies "Akvanova Rus", "Svyaz engineering KB" and "Eyliton" began to work there. In total, this year the residents have built 7 objects, 8 companies continue to build their facilities, 6 are planning to go to the site, and 2 of them "Kaviar “Biosystems” and “VIBES" received the status at the end of 2015. Another 14 companies have planned construction in the near future. The plans for the future were announced as well, they are focused on both infrastructure and attracting residents:

- I always repeat that the main capital of the SEZ is its investors.В That is why the challenge number one remains the search for new high-tech companies, the attracting them into our territory. At the beginning of 2016, 14 companies expressed a desire to become our residents, and five of them will present their projects at the next Expert Council under the Ministry of economic development. In 2016, we planned to attract 12 companies, but I think that the plan will beexceeded, at least we will try to do it. The objective of the management company is to create comfortable conditions of work and life. It is planned that this year the investments of companies in the projects will amount to 3 billion rubles.

At the first two sessions of the round table the resident companies were offered to discuss the issues of interaction with state and financial institutions.
