Deputy Prime Minister of Moscow Region - Minister of Investments and Innovations Denis Butsaev paid a working visit to SEZ "Dubna". The aim of the visit – to check the readiness of infrastructure, required for SEZ functioning and residents objects construction.
The head of the Moscow Region investment unit inspected the customs terminal, roads, engineering networks and treatment facilities, as well as the research and production buildings of resident companies, which are under construction and commissioned in two parts of SEZ Dubna.
- We see some delay in the roads, this was specially highlighted, - commented Denis Butsaev. - At the customs post, the contractor hasstarted working, but the work pace should be accelerated. The rate for treatment facilities is good enough . We also visited several enterprises that are being completed and will be commissioned in 2017, and those that have started their construction quite recently, but are already well on their way to building readiness.
This year, 17 new companies start building their own enterprises, 7 more investors will continue construction and intend to put the facilities into operation. As for remarks on the customs complex on the right-bank site, it should be completed by August 2017. The complex consists of an administrative building, an inspection box and a transport site. To complete the construction, installation and commissioning works, equipment purchase and installation another 60 million rubles are required.
After the territory examination, a working meeting was held in the Congress Center. It was attended by representatives of the regional government, the administration of Dubna, the heads of JSC "SEZ", the management company of SEZ "Dubna" and the contract organizations that conduct construction, as well as resident companies. It was about accelerating the work to complete the infrastructure construction, solving problematic issues for residents. Anton Afanasyev, General Director of JSC "SEZ" TIT "Dubna", reported in detail on the infrastructure development and interaction with investors.
Denis Butsaev took part in the meeting of SEZ "Dubna" Supervisory Board. The Council considered 5 projects of potential residents that will be submitted to the nearest Expert Council under the Government of the Moscow Region to conclude SEZ "Dubna" activities agreements. Their projects were presented by the companies "Dubna Plant of Plastics", "KIVI Processing", "NatTechReserve", "C-Component Dubna" and "Innovative protective coatings".
- We would very much like them to join the large family of “Dubna” residents - said Denis Butsaev. - All high-tech companies represent a wide range of industries - medicine, biotechnology, new materials, others. The SEZ quite differentially approaches to attracting investors, that also pleases us. This shows the high potential of "Dubna" itself, and of Moscow region. In fact, all residents coming to our territory find both scientific personnel and technologies that they use for their projects.
Denis Butsaev noted the active participation of residents in the region’s innovative transformations and once again called SEZ "Dubna" one of the promising zones of Russia:
- This is the opinion of our federal colleagues. This is the best SEZ of technical and innovative type and one of the best among all SEZs by the number of residents, the number and quality of created infrastructure, the economic indicatorsdemonstrated bythe zone. At the moment, I can say thatSEZ "Dubna" has exhausted free land, and we are working on joining a new plot of 30 hectares, which will allow us to accept new residents. Our main task is to monitor the investments quality, the timing of the creation and implementation of those facilities that residents have to create under agreements. Naturally, we will work to ensure that the SEZ continues to develop in this respect.
