LLC “SmartElectroGlass”

The company develops solid electrochromis device on flexible substrate.

The project is being implemented jointly with Intermolecular, Inc. (IMI, USA) and the Scientific Research Institute of Applied Acoustics (SRI AA, Dubna).

Product:

Electrochromic device* with solid-state electrolyte on a flexible substrate. The product is in the R&D stage.

* Electrochromic devices - constructions capable of controlled transmittance in the visible light range (darkening / brightening), as well as in the infrared range with low current supply (3-5V).

Uniqueness:

With the help of electrochromic material on a flexible substrate, it is possible to create both primary electrochromic surfaces (having similar properties already in production) and secondary (already used in architectural, automotive and other glasses). Advantages compared to liquid crystal polymers or suspended particles based glasses:

• Low supply voltage (2-3 V instead of 60-120 V);

• low power consumption;

• the ability to obtain a wide range of colors;

• the ability to smoothly change the occultation;

• Transparencyin theoff state.

Applications:

· Architectural, facade glass;

· Internal design;

· Office partitions, doors;

· Car hatches, side windows, mirrors.
